Mutton Chops with Potatoes recipe

Ingredients for Mutton Chops with Potatoes:

1. Mutton chops with ribs – 1 kg

2. Worcester sauce – 2 big spoons

    Soya sauce – 1 big spoon

    Tomato sauce – 1 big spoon

    Vinegar – 1 big spoon

    Pepper powder – 1 small spoon

3. Oil – ¼ cup

4. Onions chopped fine – 2 cups

5. Chilli powder – 1 big spoon

    Maida – 1 big spoon

6. Salt – For taste

7. Butter – 1 big spoon

8. Potatoes – 8, boiled

9. Carrot, cauliflower and beans softened by putting in boiled water – To decorate

How to prepare Mutton Chops with Potatoes?

1. Mix ingredients no: 2 to get a paste and marinate the mutton pieces.

2. Allow marinated mutton to rest for 2 hours.

3. Heat oil and sauté onions till they turn golden brown.

4. Sprinkle chilli powder and maida and sauté in a low flame.

5. Add mutton and salt, and mix the contents well.

6. Transfer the contents to a pressure cooker, add ½ cup water and cook for 20-25 minutes.

7. After the mutton is cooked, add a big spoonful of butter, followed by boiled potatoes.

8. Reduce the flame and cook your mutton chops for a few more minutes.

9. Transfer your mutton chops to a flat serving plate.

10. Place boiled vegetables on one side of the plate and serve.

11. You can also decorate with a few chopped coriander leaves.
