Tomato Prawn Curry is usually prepared using red chillies. For trying something new, you can use mint leaves & coriander leaves, make them a fine paste and use it to prepare the gravy. This refreshing prawn curry with coriander & mint goes well with rice, chapati, appam, or any main course dish of your choice.

Prawn Curry Recipe with Coriander Mint

Ingredients for Prawn Curry Recipe with Coriander & Mint:

  1. Coriander leaves – 1/2 bunch
    Mint leaves – 1/2 bunch
    Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
    Green chilli – 1
    Garlic – 4 cloves
  2. Oil – As needed
  3. Onion – 1 large, chopped
  4. Large prawns (or Shrimp) – 200 g, cleaned and deveined
    Tomato – 400 g, roughly chopped
  5. Salt – To taste
  6. Coriander leaves – 1 bunch, chopped

How to prepare Prawn Curry Recipe with Coriander & Mint?

  1. Grind the first set of ingredients finely. This forms the green curry paste for your prawns curry.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion for 4 minutes until it turns soft.
  3. Add the green curry paste and cook well for a few minutes.
  4. Add the prawns and tomato to it, mix well, and cook on low flame.
  5. Adjust salt to taste. Add chopped coriander leaves just before serving.
