Green Mango Pachadi (Pacha Maanga Pachadi)
Green Mango and Curd forms an amazing combo for a vegetarian meal served on banana leaf. It’s an integral part of Thiruvananthapuram style Kerala sadya and is made in different ways. Ingredients for Green Mango Pachadi (Pacha Maanga Pachadi)
1. Coconut oil – 1 big spoon
2. Mustard – ½ small spoon
Red chillies – 2, chopped fine
Curry leaves – As required
3. Shallots – 3, chopped fine
Green chillies – 2, chopped fine
Crushed ginger – 1 small spoon
4. Green Mango – 1, cut into small pieces
5. Water – ¼ cup
Coconut milk – ½ cup
Salt – For taste
6. Coconut milk – ½ cup
How to prepare Green Mango Pachadi (Pacha Maanga Pachadi)?
1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 2.
2. Add ingredients no: 3 and sauté the contents.
3. When it’s done add green mangoes and sauté for 5 more minutes.
4. Add ingredients no: 5 and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Add remaining coconut milk and take off the flame.
