Tomato Pickle recipe

Ingredients for Tomato Pickle:

1. Tomato – 6

    Red chillies – 10

    Tamarind – gooseberry-sized, juice extracted

2. Oil – As needed

3. Mustard – 1 small spoon

    Fenugreek – 1 small spoon

    Asafoetida – 1 small piece

4. Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – As required

How to prepare Tomato Pickle?

1. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 1.

2. Heat oil in a pan and fry each item listed under 3 separately.

3. Make a fine powder of the above fried items.

4. Add a little more oil to the pan and add tomato paste.

5. Boil well and add turmeric powder, salt, and the powdered mixture.

6. When the pickle is well-cooked, the oil separates from it.

7. Turn off the flame and allow the contents to cool.

8. Your tomato pickle is ready to serve.
