
Ingredients for Muthira Chutney (Horse Gram Chutney):
1. Horsegram – ½ cup
2. Coconut grated – 1 cup
3. Red chillies – 6 to 8
4. Shallots – 3 to 4
5. Ginger – 1 small piece
6. Curry leaves – A little
7. Salt – For taste
8. Coconut oil – 1 tsp
How to prepare Muthira Chutney (Horse Gram Chutney)?
1. Gently heat horse gram and soak in water overnight.
2. Cook it in a pressure cooker the next day, and strain excess water.
3. Make a fine paste of it, adding ingredients 2-7.
4. Add coconut oil and serve.
