Muthira Chutney (Horse Gram Chutney)
Ingredients for Muthira Chutney (Horse Gram Chutney):
1. Horsegram – ½ cup
2. Coconut scrapped – 1 cup
3. Red chillies – 6 to 8
4. Shallots – 3 to 4
5. Ginger – 1 small piece
6. Curry leaves – A little
7. Salt – For taste
8. Coconut oil – 1 tsp
How to prepare Muthira Chutney (Horse Gram Chutney)?
1. Gently heat horse gram, and soak in water overnight.
2. Cook it in pressure cooker next day, and strain excess water.
3. Make a fine paste of it, adding ingredients 2-7.
4. Add coconut oil and serve.
