Meat Tareed recipe

Ingredients for Meat Tareed:

1. Mutton (shoulder part) – ½ kg

2. Onions – 2 big, chopped

   Tomato – 1, chopped

   Dry lemon – 2

   Tomato paste – 1.25 cups

   Arabic masala – 2 big spoons

   Pepper powder – 1 small spoon

   Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

   Cinnamon powder – 1/2 small spoon

   Cardamom powder – ¼ small spoon

   Water – 4 litres

   Salt – For taste

3. Ragag bread (Arabian Roti) – 24

4. Carrot – 1 small, chopped

How to prepare Meat Tareed?

1. Clean the mutton and cut it into pieces.

2. Spread mutton pieces in a baking tray.

3. Mix ingredients no: 2 with the mutton pieces.

4. Bake mutton till it’s well-cooked. You can also cook on a stove.

5. Break Ragag bread sheets and put in hot mutton, soak and take them out.

6. Transfer Ragag bread to a serving plate.

7. Pour mutton on top and decorate with the carrot.
