Meat Tareed
Ingredients for Meat Tareed:
1. Mutton (shoulder part) – ½ kg
2. Onions – 2 big, chopped
Tomato – 1, chopped
Dry lemon – 2
Tomato paste – 1.25 cups
Arabic masala – 2 big spoons
Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 small spoon
Cardamom powder – ¼ small spoon
Water – 4 litres
Salt – For taste
3. Ragag bread (Arabian Roti) – 24
4. Carrot – 1 small, chopped
How to prepare Meat Tareed?
1. Clean mutton and cut into pieces.
2. Spread mutton pieces in a baking tray.
3. Mix ingredients no: 2 to mutton pieces.
4. Bake mutton till it’s well cooked. You can also cook in stove.
5. Break Ragag bread sheets and put in hot mutton, soak and take them out.
6. Transfer Ragag bread to a serving plate.
7. Pour mutton on its top and decorate with carrot.
