Meat – Jackseed Curry (Irachi Chakka Kuru Curry)

Ingredients for Meat – Jackseed Curry (Irachi Chakka Kuru Curry):

1. Meat of any type – ½ kg, cut into pieces

    Green chillies – 3, split into two

    Ginger – 1 small piece, sliced thin lengthwise

    Salt – For taste

2. Coconut oil – 1 big spoon

3. Coconut scrapped – 1 cup

    Garlic – 3 cloves

    Pepper – 1 small spoon

    Fennel seeds – 1 small spoon

    Curry leaves – 5 stems

4. Chilli powder – 1 big spoon

    Coriander powder – 1 big spoon

    Turmeric powder – 1/4 small spoon

    Meat masala powder – 1 small spoon

5. Jackfruit seeds cleaned and cut into 2 halves – 1 cup

6. Coconut oil– 1 big spoon

7. Red chillies – 2, broken

    Curry leaves – A stem

How to prepare Meat – Jackseed Curry (Irachi Chakka Kuru Curry)?

1. Cook ingredients no: 1 together.

2. Heat oil in a pan, and fry ingredients no: 3 in low flame.

3. When it turns brown, add the powders.

4. When raw smell goes out, take the pan from flame.

5. When it cools, make a fine powder.

6. Add cooked jackfruit seeds to meat and add the prepared masala powder.

7. Boil the contents.

8. Put off the flame before the meat-jackfruit seed curry turns too thick.

9. Temper ingredients no: 7 in coconut oil and add to your curry.
