Kachi Gosht ki Biryani recipe

Ingredients for Kachi Gosht ki Biryani :

1. Mutton pieces – 300 gm
2. Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
     Salt – as needed
     Papaya paste –  2 big spoons
    Chilli powder – 2 tsp
3. Basmati rice – 150 gm
4. Green chillies sliced – 2 small spoons
    Puthina leaves chopped – 4 big spoons
    Curd – 4 big spoons
    Onions fried golden brown – 3 big spoons
    Garam masala ( bay leaf, cinnamon, pepper, green cardamom ) – 4 small spoons
    Sha jeerakam – 1 tsp
5. Milk – 2 big spoons
6. Saffron – 1 pinch
7. Ghee – 4 big spoons
8. Flour – as needed

How to prepare Kachi Gosht ki Biryani?

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Marinate the mutton with the ingredients listed under 2. Keep it for 1.5 hours
  3. Mix all the contents listed under 4 with chicken pieces.
  4. Add 1/4 cup of boiled water and cook it well with the lid closed.
  5. Wash rice and soak it for some time.
  6. Boil water and add rice along with salt and garam masala items as a whole. Drain excess water when it’s cooked.
  7. Spread chicken pieces on a plate and pour rice on top.
  8. Mix saffron in milk and sprinkle on top of rice.
  9. Pour ghee on its top.
  10. Tightly close the lid and apply flour in the gap to avoid the escape of moisture and aroma.
  11. Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes and at 150 degrees for 15 minutes.
  12. Decorate with coriander leaves and fried onions, and serve hot
