Maanga Thottukoottaan recipe

Ingredients for Maanga Thottukoottaan:

  1. Medium-sized raw mango (less sour) – 2, cut into fine pieces after removing skin
  2. Red chillies cooked in the hearth or flame – 4
  3. Shallots – 4 chopped into very fine pieces
  4. Salt – As required
  5. Coconut oil – A little

How to prepare Maanga Thottukoottaan?

  1. Mix all ingredients together except the coconut oil and crush well.
  2. Add a little coconut to this crushed mango mixture, and use it as a side dish for rice, tapioca, or yams.
