Ingredients for Maanga Thottukoottaan:
- Medium-sized raw mango (less sour) – 2, cut into fine pieces after removing skin
- Red chillies cooked in the hearth or flame – 4
- Shallots – 4 chopped into very fine pieces
- Salt – As required
- Coconut oil – A little
How to prepare Maanga Thottukoottaan?
- Mix all ingredients together except the coconut oil and crush well.
- Add a little coconut to this crushed mango mixture, and use it as a side dish for rice, tapioca, or yams.
