Kilimeen Moli recipe

Ingredients for Kilimeen Moli (Fin Bream with Coconut Milk):

1. Kilimeen Moli (Fin Bream/Navara Meen) – ½ kg

2. Coconut – ½

3. Onion chopped – 2

    Green chillies chopped – 6

    Ginger chopped – 2 pieces

    Tomato chopped – 2

4. Pot tamarind – 1 clove

5. Salt – For taste

6. Coconut oil – As needed

How to prepare Kilimeen Moli (Fin Bream with Coconut Milk)?

1. Marinate fish using salt, and fry it till 3/4th done. Keep them aside.

2. Extract first, second and third milk from the coconut.

3. Sauté ingredients no: 3 together.

4. When done, add the second and third milk of coconut and bring to a boil.

5. Add fish and pot tamarind, and cook the fish.

6. When the fish is well-cooked and the water is almost absorbed, add the first extract of coconut milk.

7. Turn off the flame.
