Ingredients for Karaykkaappam:

1. Sugar – 1 kg

    Eggs – 9

    Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon

2. Maida – 1 kg

3. Ghee – 150 gm

4. Oil – For frying

How to prepare Karaykkaappam?

1. Mix ingredients no: 1 together.

2. Keep mixing till sugar dissolves completely.

3. Add maida to it and mix well, followed by ghee.

4. Make small balls from dough, spread each of them into thick circular shapes and fold them.

5. You can also make small ball shapes for frying.

6. Heat oil and fry your Karaykkaappams till they turn golden brown.

7. When it completely cools off, store in air-tight tins.
