Gooseberry Pachadi (Nellikka Pachadi)

Ingredients for Nellikka Pachadi (Gooseberry Pachadi):

  1. Gooseberry – 10
  2. Ginger -1 piece
  3. Mustard – 2tsp
  4. Green chillies – 3
  5. Scrapped coconut – as required
  6. Curry leaves – 2 stem
  7. Coriander leaves – 1 stem
  8. Curd – as required (according to sourness)
  9. Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
  10. Salt – as per taste

How to prepare Nellikka Pachadi (Gooseberry Pachadi)?

  1. Wash gooseberry and cut into fine pieces.
  2. Grind it along with ingredients 2-5.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and sputter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves.
  4. Add gooseberry-coconut paste along with a little water and boil it.
  5. As soon as it boils add curd along with salt and coriander leaves. Put the flame off. Never boil it.
