Chickpeas Yogurt Curry

Ingredients for Chickpeas Yogurt Curry:

1. White chickpeas – 250 gm

2. Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – For taste

    Green chillies – 6, chopped

    Water – As needed

3. Coconut oil – As needed

4. Mustard – ½ small spoon

    Garlic – 10 cloves, split into two

    Ginger – 1 small piece, chopped fine

    Curry leaves – 1 stem

    Red chillies – 3

5. Water – As needed

6. Curry – 250 milli

7. Green chilli – 1, split into two

    Coriander leaves – 3 stems, chopped

8. Cumin powder – ½ small spoon

How to prepare Chickpeas Yogurt Curry?

1. Soak chickpeas overnight and next day pressure cook it adding ingredients no: 2.

2. Heat oil and sauté ingredients no: 4.

3. When it’s done, add cooked chickpeas along with water and boil the contents.

4. When the curry turns thick in consistency, put off the flame.

5. Add curd and smash well.

6. Transfer the Chickpeas Yogurt Curry to a serving bowl.

7. Garnish your curry with green chillies and coriander leaves.

8. Sprinkle cumin seeds on top and serve.
