
Ingredients for Chicken Saag:
- Green spinach – 250 gm
- Oil – 2.5 tablespoons
- Bay leaf – 2
Cloves, cardamom – 3 each
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp - Onions chopped – 150 gm
- Garlic chopped – 5 cloves
Green chilli chopped – 1
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Tomato chopped into pieces after removing skin – 2 - Chicken breast – 400 gm, cut into pieces
Salt – For taste - Garam masala – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped – 2 tablespoons
How to prepare Chicken Saag?
- Dip spinach in boiled water for a while.
- Make a fine paste of spinach leaves.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 3.
- Add onions and sauté again.
- When onions turn brown, add ingredients no: 5 and sauté again.
- Add chicken breast, salt, and cook it for 3 minutes.
- Add spinach and reduce the flame.
- Cook till chicken is done.
- Add ingredients no: 7 and turn off the flame.
