Chicken – Spinach Thoran recipe

Ingredients for Chicken – Cheerayila Thoran (Chicken – Spinach Thoran):

  1. Boneless chicken cut into lengthy pieces – ½ cup
  2. Chilli powder, turmeric powder – A little
  3. Salt – For taste
  4. Green chillies – 4
    Coconut grated – ½ cup
    Garlic – 7 cloves
    Chilli powder – 1.5 small spoons
    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
  5. Red spinach chopped – 3 cups
  6. Oil- 2 big spoons
  7. Onion – 1, sliced

How to prepare Chicken-Cheerayila Thoran (Chicken – Spinach Thoran)?

  1. Marinate chicken using turmeric powder and chilli powder.
  2. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Crush ingredients no: 4 by adding salt.
  4. Mix it with chopped spinach leaves.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and cook the chicken.
  6. When it’s half done, add sliced onion and sauté the contents.
  7. When the chicken is well-cooked, add the coconut-spinach mixture.
  8.  Mix well and close the lid.
  9. Cook your chicken-spinach thoran till it’s done.
