
Ingredients for Chicken – Cheerayila Thoran (Chicken – Spinach Thoran):
- Boneless chicken cut into lengthy pieces – ½ cup
- Chilli powder, turmeric powder – A little
- Salt – For taste
- Green chillies – 4
Coconut grated – ½ cup
Garlic – 7 cloves
Chilli powder – 1.5 small spoons
Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon - Red spinach chopped – 3 cups
- Oil- 2 big spoons
- Onion – 1, sliced
How to prepare Chicken-Cheerayila Thoran (Chicken – Spinach Thoran)?
- Marinate chicken using turmeric powder and chilli powder.
- Allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
- Crush ingredients no: 4 by adding salt.
- Mix it with chopped spinach leaves.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the chicken.
- When it’s half done, add sliced onion and sauté the contents.
- When the chicken is well-cooked, add the coconut-spinach mixture.
- Mix well and close the lid.
- Cook your chicken-spinach thoran till it’s done.
