
Ingredients for Chemmeen Poricha Puratt (Prawn Marinated & Fried):
- Cleaned prawns – 250 gm
- Ginger – 1 piece, crushed
Garlic – 10 cloves, crushed
Shallots – 10, chopped fine
Coconut grated – ½
Turmeric powder – 1/2 small spoon
Chilli powder – 1.5 small spoons
Coriander powder – 1 small spoon - Coconut oil – As required
- Curry leaves – As needed
How to prepare Chemmeen Poricha Puratt (Prawn Marinated & Fried)?
- Cook prawns, adding ingredients no: 2 in an earthen pot.
- Heat oil in a pan, and add curry leaves.
- Add cooked prawns to it along with the gravy.
- Fry it till the water content is fully absorbed and the prawns are fried well.
