Bonda
Ingredients for Bonda:
1. Potato – 2
2. Oil – 1 big spoon
3. Mustard – ½ small spoon
4. Onion – 1, chopped fine
Ginger – ½-inch piece
Green chillies – 2, chopped
Coriander leaves chopped – ½ cup
5. Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Garam masala powder – ¼ small spoon
Coriander powder – ¼ small spoon
Salt – For taste
6. Maida – 1 cup
Water, salt, pepper powder, turmeric powder – As needed
7. Oil – For frying
How to prepare Bonda?
1. Boil potato and remove the outer skin.
2. Heat oil and add mustard seeds. Sauté ingredients no: 4.
3. Add powders and mix well.
4. Add potato and smash the contents well.
5. Keep cooking till potato masala turns dry.
6. Allow it to cool, and make small balls from it.
7. Prepare batter using ingredients no: 7, in the consistency of dosa’s.
8. Dip each potato ball in this batter and deep fry in hot oil.

Note: You can also substitute maida with gram flour.
