
Ingredients for Kozhi Nirachu Porichath (Stuffed Chicken Fried):
- Cleaned chicken, small-sized (hen) – 1
- Coconut oil – 3 big spoons
- Onions chopped fine – 1
- Ginger crushed – 1 small spoon
- Garlic crushed – 1 small spoon
- Green chillies crushed – 2
- Tomato, finely chopped – 1
- Coriander leaves chopped – 1 big spoon
- Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
- Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
- Coriander powder – ½ small spoon
- Pepper powder – 1 pinch
- Garam masala powder – 1 pinch
- Salt – For taste
- Boiled eggs – 2
- Cashews fried in ghee – 12
- Raisins fried in ghee – 12
How to prepare Kozhi Nirachu Porichath (Stuffed Chicken Fried)?
- Sauté onions, adding coconut oil.
- When it turns soft, add ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Sauté for a minute and add coriander leaves and tomato.
- Cut the chicken liver into small pieces, and add it.
- Add powders to the mixture, listed 9-13 and also sufficient salt and sauté again.
- Add eggs, cashews and raisins.
- Mix it well. The masala to stuff the chicken is ready.
- Remove the skin of the chicken and clean it well.
- Soak chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt, adding a little water.
- Marinate chicken using this paste and steam cook it.
- Make a fine cut in the stomach of the cooked chicken.
- Stuff the chicken with already prepared masala and eggs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken well.
- Flip both sides to cook well.
- While frying chicken, take extra care not to alter the shape of the chicken.
- You can decorate chicken with fried cashews and raisins and serve.
