Amit Bimrot is a promising young actor, a graduate from the prestigious FTII Pune, who joined the acting field with the 2018 Bollywood film, Raid. He made an impressive debut playing Satish Mishra, an income tax inspector and a member of Ajay Devgan’s team who conducts a raid at Saurabh Shukla’s house. In 2019, he marked his debut in a web series through Bard of Blood, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, and also did his second Bollywood film, Made In China. The actor has a great career ahead with some good projects – Simmi and Kasai in hand. Apart from acting, he is interested in martial arts and is a national-level champion.

Amit Bimrot was born in 1990 in Mehsana, Gujarat. Initially, he was associated with sports during his teens. In 2009, he joined the theatre in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he has worked as a stage actor. It was done in collaboration with FTII. Later he graduated from the same institute, Film and Television Institute of India in 2015 and then moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in films. However, he couldn’t get through auditions for a long time.
After appearing in a few TV ads, he got his first big break through Raid, and his struggling days finally came to an end. He played a newly recruited income tax inspector of the 1980s, Satish Mishra in the movie, which brought him to the limelight for the first time. He shared screen space with Emraan Hashmi for the web series – a spy thriller, Bard of Blood, playing the role of tech genius, Agent Nihar.

1. As a theatre artist in Jaipur, he worked with Sarthak Theatre Group Association, and theatre personality Sabir Khan was his mentor.
2. He was seen in TV ads of Parle G, JK Tyre and Vicks, before he got his first big break through Raid.
3. During his struggling days in Mumbai, he appeared in more than a thousand auditions and got rejected every time.
4. He owns a Karate black belt from the Taekwondo Federation of India, affiliated with the World Taekwondo Federation.
5. He is a gold medallist of the national squad martial arts championship 2007.
