Ingredients for Easy Duck Roast (Easy Tharav Roast):
- Duck – 1 kg
- Ginger – 2-inch piece
Garlic – 1 big spoon
Green chillies – 8
Pepper – 2 small spoons
Cardamom – 6
Cloves – 4
Cinnamon – 1-inch piece - Onions – 2 big, chopped
Shallots – ¼ cup, chopped
Red chillies – 5, after removing seeds
Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon
Vinegar – 2 big spoons - Coconut oil – ½ cup
- Onions – 2, sliced thin
How to prepare Easy Duck Roast (Easy Tharav Roast)?
- Clean the duck and cut it into desired pieces.
- Mix together ingredients no: 2 and crush them well.
- Marinate the duck with this mixture, ingredients no: 3 and salt.
- Heat oil and deep fry sliced onions till golden brown.
- Take duck pieces from the gravy and fry in the remaining oil.
- Mix fried onions, duck and gravy and cook until the curry thickens.
