Easy Duck Roast recipe

Ingredients for Easy Duck Roast (Easy Tharav Roast):

  1. Duck – 1 kg
  2. Ginger – 2-inch piece
    Garlic – 1 big spoon
    Green chillies – 8
    Pepper – 2 small spoons
    Cardamom – 6
    Cloves – 4
    Cinnamon – 1-inch piece
  3. Onions – 2 big, chopped
    Shallots – ¼ cup, chopped
    Red chillies – 5, after removing seeds
    Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon
    Vinegar – 2 big spoons
  4. Coconut oil – ½ cup
  5. Onions – 2, sliced thin

How to prepare Easy Duck Roast (Easy Tharav Roast)?

  1. Clean the duck and cut it into desired pieces.
  2. Mix together ingredients no: 2 and crush them well.
  3. Marinate the duck with this mixture, ingredients no: 3 and salt.
  4. Heat oil and deep fry sliced onions till golden brown.
  5. Take duck pieces from the gravy and fry in the remaining oil.
  6. Mix fried onions, duck and gravy and cook until the curry thickens.
