Soya bean Fried Rice

Ingredients for Soya Fried Rice:

1. Cooked basmati rice – 1 cup

2. Soya bean cooked – 50 gm

3. Onion – 1

4. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp

5. Carrot – ½

6. Green chillies – 2

7. Lemon juice – 1 tsp

8. Beans – 5

9. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

10. Garam masala powder – ½ tsp

11. Vegetable oil – As required

How to prepare Soya Fried Rice?

1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté green chillies and ginger-garlic paste.

2. Add turmeric powder and garam masala powder to it, and fry again.

3. Add soya bean, chopped beans and carrot and fry for a few minutes.

4. Add cooked rice and lemon juice and mix well.

5. Put off the flame and transfer soya fried rice to a serving plate.

6. Decorate with coriander leaves, celery or spring onions and serve aside curd or raita.

Soya Fried Rice (Recipe 2)

Ingredients for Soya Fried Rice (Recipe 2):

1. Basmati rice – 250 gm

2. Soya beans – 50 gm

3. Onions chopped – 2

    Green chillies chopped – 2

4. Carrot chopped – 2

    Beans chopped – 100 gm

    Green peas – ½ cup

6. Garlic chopped – 1 tsp

7. Salt – For taste

8. Soya oil – 2 table spoons

How to prepare Soya Fried Rice (Recipe 2)?

1. Soak rice and soya beans in water separately.

2. After 15 minutes, squeeze water for soya beans.

3. Heat oil in a small sized urli and fry garlic.

4. Add onions and green chillies, and sauté again.

5. When onions turn brown, add soya and continue cooking till water content is fully absorbed.

6. Add ingredients no: 4 and mix well for 2 minutes.

7. Add rice (after straining water), 2 cups of water and salt and close the lid.

8. Cook rice in low flame till it’s done.

9. Serve hot.
