Sleep Forever, Oh Tired Heart

The chilled evening drenched in monsoon clouds

When moist nightfall’s eyes just stopped raining

Listening to rain’s music you are standing

At the footsteps of visualized lightening towers,

Like the second note of the recital,

With fake hopes

Asking for an end to endless repetitions,

Happening every day.

The silent mind has already rest in laziness

Though late, realized the ultimate truth.

In the cloud drops disappearing in soil,

The one who searched meanings for the faded dream,

Is none other that the stupid, the only you!

The only heart that loved the last colourful raindrop

Which settled in soil like a thin misty layer

Was also you!!

When life leads towards the final corridor,

The mind shatters into thousand pieces at the doorstep,

Asking you a silly question,

For the borrowed colourful dreams for a short time,

Why did you give your name, you idiot!

In the last moments of that radiant nightfall,

When night desires for the union with day,

Thinking about the countless days and nights to witness,

Counting those remaining moments of lifetime acting,

Giving sunset to all beliefs and hopes remaining,

Kindly slip into your last sleep, oh tired heart

And sleep forever,

Unaware of everything happening around.

Let no one wake you from deep sleep hereafter

Let no one light your dreams of hopes again

From the gone flame of your lighted lamps,

And let your eyes not see your foolish dreams once again!
