
Ingredients for Pudina Chutney:
1. Pudina leaves – 1 bunch
2. Red chillies – 4 or 5 (as needed)
3. Shallots – 5 or 6
4. Cooking oil – To fry
5. Urud Daal – A little
6. Salt – As per taste
7. Tamarind – A little
8. Grated coconut – 1.5 cups
How to prepare Pudina Chutney?
1. Heat oil, fry red chillies till they change colour, and keep aside. Fry Urud dal (black gram) and shallots also.
2. Fry mint leaves (after removing their stalks). Take leaves only.
3. Coarsely grind all the items together in a mixer. Need not be ground to a fine paste. Pudina Chutney is best with dosa and idlis.
