Potato Pulao recipe

Ingredients for Potato Pulao:

1. Basmati rice – 2 cups

2. Oil – As needed

3. Cumin seeds – 1.5 small spoons

4. Onions – 2, small

    Green chillies – 3

    Ginger – 1-inch piece

5. Coriander leaves – A handful

    Curry leaves – 2 stalks

6. Potato – 5, medium-sized, cut into small square pieces

    Cumin powder – 2 small spoons

7. Garam masala powder – 2 small spoons

8. Salt – For taste

    Lemon juice – From 1.5 lemons

9. Coriander leaves chopped – 2 small spoons

How to prepare Potato Pulao?

1. Cook rice and strain excess water.

2. Heat oil and fry cumin seeds.

3. Chop ingredients no: 4, and saute with cumin seeds.

4. Add coriander leaves and curry leaves, followed by potatoes and cumin powder.

5. Close the lid and cook the potato on a low flame.

6. When potatoes are well-cooked, add cooked rice and garam masala powder.

7. Add salt and lemon juice and mix the contents well.

8. Sprinkle coriander leaves on top and serve.
