Potato Cheese Balls – Recipe 1

Ingredients for Potato Cheese Balls:
- Boiled potatoes – 2
- Cheese – 1 slice
- Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
Salt – ¾ small spoon - Oil – For frying
How to prepare Potato Cheese Balls?
- Smash cooked potatoes to make a fine paste. (Never use a mixer)
- Grate the cheese in a bowl.
- Add potato, salt, and pepper, and mix them well.
- Make small potato balls and deep fry in hot oil.
- Balls should be golden brown.
- You can serve potato cheese balls with tomato sauce.

Creamy Potato Cheese Balls – Recipe 2

Ingredients for Creamy Potato Cheese Balls:
- Potato – 2 large, diced
- Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
Crushed dried red chili – 1 tsp
Garlic powder – ½ tsp
Coriander leaves paste – 2 tsp
Salt – as required - Mozzarella cheese – 40 cubes, cut into ½ inch pieces
- All-purpose flour – 1 cup
- Egg – 1 to 2 large, lightly beaten
- Bread crumbs – 1½ cups
- Oil – as required for frying
How to prepare Creamy Potato Cheese Balls?
- Place the potatoes in a pan, pour enough cold water to cover and add salt as required.
- Cook uncovered on medium flame for 20 minutes. Drain and mash well.
- Add ingredients no: 2 and mix well. Allow to cool.
- When cooled, take 2 tbsp of the mixture at a time and roll into balls.
- Flatten slightly on the palm, place a cheese cube in the centre, and cover well.
- Coat each ball in all-purpose flour, dip in beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs.
- Deep fry in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve with sauce.
