Ingredients for Poha:

1. Aval (Rice flakes) – 2 cups

2. Green chillies – 3

    Coriander leaves and salt – A little

3. Coconut scrapped – ¼ cup

    Lemon juice – From ½ lemon

    Coriander chopped – 3 big spoons

    Salt – 3 big spoons

    Sugar – 1 small spoon

4. Oil – 2 big spoons

5. Mustard – 1 small spoon

6. Asafoetida – 1 pinch

7. Onions chopped – 1

How to prepare Poha?

1. Crush green chillies by adding a little salt and coriander leaves.

2. Mix together ingredients 1, 2 and 3.

3. Heat oil and sputter mustard seeds.

4. Add asafoetida and onions.

5. Add aval mixture and mix the contents well.

6. Sprinkle a little water or coconut water so that rice flakes turn soft.
