Pepper Chilli Crab Fry recipe

Ingredients for Pepper Chilli Crab Fry:

  1. Flower crab – 1 kg
  2. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  3. Pepper powder – 1.5 tablespoons
  4. Chilli powder – 2 tablespoons
  5. Garlic – 10 —12 nos.
  6. Lemon juice – Extracted from one lemon
  7. Curry leaves – 2 stems
  8. Salt and coconut oil – As required

How to prepare Pepper Chilli Crab Fry?

  1. Clean the crab and cut it into pieces.
  2. Marinate the crab pieces with the three powders, lemon juice, and salt.
  3. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a thick-bottomed pan.
  5. Crush garlic cloves (without removing skin) and fry in hot oil.
  6. Add marinated crab pieces to hot oil and fry on a low flame.
  7. Flip crab pieces once after 12 minutes and fry that side too.
  8. When both sides are well-cooked, turn off the flame.
  9. Serve hot with rice or any main course dish of your choice.
