Ingredients for Pepper Chilli Crab Fry:
- Flower crab – 1 kg
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Pepper powder – 1.5 tablespoons
- Chilli powder – 2 tablespoons
- Garlic – 10 —12 nos.
- Lemon juice – Extracted from one lemon
- Curry leaves – 2 stems
- Salt and coconut oil – As required
How to prepare Pepper Chilli Crab Fry?
- Clean the crab and cut it into pieces.
- Marinate the crab pieces with the three powders, lemon juice, and salt.
- Allow it to rest for 15 minutes.
- Heat coconut oil in a thick-bottomed pan.
- Crush garlic cloves (without removing skin) and fry in hot oil.
- Add marinated crab pieces to hot oil and fry on a low flame.
- Flip crab pieces once after 12 minutes and fry that side too.
- When both sides are well-cooked, turn off the flame.
- Serve hot with rice or any main course dish of your choice.
