Chilli Koonthal


Ingredients for Chilli Koonthal:

1. Koonthal (Kanava) (Squid) – 1 kg
2. Chilli powder – 3 big spoons
    Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon
    Salt – as per needed
3. Oil – to fry
4. Onion chopped – 200 gm
    Tomato cut into small pieces – 2
    Green chillies split into 2 or 4 – 10
    Garlic paste – 1 small spoon
    Ginger paste – 1 small spoon
5. Soya sauce – 1 small spoon
    Chilli sauce – 1 small spoon
    Tomato sauce – 1 small spoon
    Corn flour – a pinch
6. Oil – 100 gm
 

How to prepare Chilli Koonthal?

  1. Clean koonthal and marinate with ingredients 2. Keep it for 10-15 minutes and fry in hot oil.
  2. Heat oil and sauté ingredients 4.
  3. Add fried koonthal to it along with ingredients 5.
  4. You can decorate with coriander leaves and capsicum. If so, chop them tiny.
