Mutta Avial recipe

Ingredients for Mutta Avial (Egg Avial):

  1. Boiled eggs – 4
  2. Coconut grated – ½ cup
    Onions chopped – 1
    Curd -2 big spoons
    Salt – 1 small spoon
    Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
    Coriander powder – 1 small spoon
    Cumin powder – ¼ small spoon
    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
    Water – 1 cup
  3. Potatoes cut into finger shapes and boiled – 1 big
  4. Coconut oil – 1 big spoon
    Curry leaves – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Mutta Avial (Egg Avial)?

  1. Split boiled eggs into two pieces, lengthwise.
  2. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 2.
  3. Heat a pan and boil the gravy.
  4. Add boiled potatoes to it and allow the contents to boil.
  5.  Add boiled eggs to it and mix once.
  6. When it starts boiling, add curry leaves and oil.
  7. Check salt, mix well, and take off from the flame.
