Muringa Leaf Kootucurry (Muringa Ila Koottucurry)

Ingredients for Muringa Leaf Koottucurry:

1. Red chillies – 4

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

    Coconut scrapped – 1.5 cups

2. Muringa leaves separated and cleaned – 2.5 cups

3. Turmeric powder and salt – As needed

4. Green gram daal (Cherupayar paripp) – ¼ cup, cooked

5. Coconut oil – 3 big spoons

    Mustard – ½ small spoon

    Black gram – ½ small spoon

    Red chillies – 4

How to prepare Muringa Leaf Koottucurry?

1. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 1, place in flame.

2. When the contents start to boil, add muringa leaves, turmeric powder and salt.

3. Stir continuously for a few minutes and finally add cooked daal.

4. Mix well and take off from flame.

5. Temper ingredients no: 5 in oil and pour to your koottucurry.
