Meat Ball Curry recipe

Ingredients for Meat Ball Curry:

  1. Coriander powder – 4 teaspoons
    Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
    Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
    Pepper powder – 1/4 teaspoon
    Cumin – A pinch
    Cloves – 3
    Cinnamon – 1-inch piece
    Cardamom – 2
    Fennel – A pinch
  2. Chicken/Mutton minced – 1/2 kg
    Onion, finely chopped – 4 teaspoons
    Green chilli, finely chopped – 1 teaspoon
    Ginger, finely chopped – 1 teaspoon
    Garlic, finely chopped – 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Vinegar, Salt – As required
  4. Oil – 1/4 cup
  5. Onion sliced – 1/4 cup
  6. Garlic sliced – 2 teaspoons
    Ginger sliced – 1 teaspoon
    Green chillies – 4, split at the tip
  7. Coconut milk – 2 cups
  8. Curry leaves – As required

How to prepare Meat Ball Curry?

  1. Grind the first set of ingredients into a fine paste.
  2. Mix the second set of ingredients and keep them aside.
  3. Add two teaspoons of the ground paste, a little vinegar, and salt to the minced meat, mix well, and shape into small balls.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion.
  5. Add the sixth set of ingredients, sauté well, remove the green chilli, and then add the ground paste and sauté again.
  6. Add two cups of second coconut milk, vinegar, salt, curry leaves, and the sautéed green chilli, then bring to a boil.
  7. When it starts boiling thoroughly, add the meatballs and cook.
  8. Once the gravy thickens and coats the pieces well, add the first coconut milk, heat it well, and serve.
