Luqaimat recipe

Ingredients for Luqaimat:

1. Sugar – 1 cup

    Water – ¼ cup

2. Lukewarm milk – 2.25 cups

    Yeast – 1 big spoon

    Thick curd – 3 big spoons

3. Maida – 2.5 cups

    Corn flour – 3 big spoons

    Salt – A small spoon

4. Oil – For frying

How to prepare Luqaimat?

1. Mix sugar and water together and boil for three minutes.

2. Put off the flame, and add ingredients no: 2. Mix well.

3. Mix ingredients no: 3 together in a big bowl.

4. Add milk mixture little by little and mix well to prepare a thick batter.

5. The consistency of the batter should be slightly thicker than pancake.

6. Allow the batter to rest for half an hour.

7. Heat oil in a pan, pour the batter using a spoon, and deep fry till golden brown.

8. Remove the oil content of the Luqaimat balls and dip them in sugar solution to get a sweet coat.

9. Take them out and serve hot.
