Masala Sweet Mango Chutney recipe

Ingredients for Masala Sweet Mango Chutney:

1. Oil – 1 big spoon

2. Ginger chopped – 2 small spoons

    Garlic – 2 cloves, chopped

    Red chilli – 1, after removing its inner portion and seeds

3. Coriander powder – 1 small spoon

    Cumin powder – 1/2 a small spoon

    Turmeric powder – 1/4 small spoon

    Cardamom, cloves, cinnamon – ¼ small spoon each, powdered

4. Green mango – 4 or 5 (big)

5. Salt – 1 /4 small spoon

    Sugar – 2 cups

    Vinegar – 1 cup

How to prepare Masala Sweet Mango Chutney?

1. Remove the skin of the green mango, and cut it into small pieces.

2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 2.

3. Add ingredients no: 3 and sauté for 1 more minute.

4. When the masala is fried well, add the mango pieces and mix well.

5. Add ingredients no: 5 and cook the mango in a low flame for 1 hour.

6. Turn off the flame and allow it to cool completely.

7. If needed, use a potato masher and mash the chutney.

8. Store it in glass containers.
