Manjiri Yashwant is a well-known Marathi film actress. She made her screen debut with BABO, where she portrayed Pintya’s wife. The movie had a theatre release in 2019 and opened to negative reviews. However, her supporting role in the film got noticed. The movie was directed by Ramesh Chaudhary and also featured Sayaji Shinde, Kishore Kadam, etc. Now she has bagged a few more Marathi film projects and has a promising career ahead. She has scripted and acted in one award-winning short film, Citadel To be Proud in 2018.

Manjiri Yashwant hails from Pandharpur, Maharashtra, and she was born on 5 March 1993. She is an engineering graduate who completed Civil Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Earlier her schooling was done at GDM High School, Madgule. Right from childhood, she was interested in acting and has been a part of school plays. She bagged her first movie, BABO, in 2018, and the movie had a theatre release in 2019. It’s a comedy-drama film. In 2018, she has acted in one Marathi award-winning short film, Citadel To be Proud (Killa/ Fort). The short film was directed by Ramesh Sahebrao Chaudhary. She also scripted the short film.
