Kesari Peda
Ingredients for Kesari Peda:
1. Saffron – 15-16 strands
Warm milk – 1 big spoon
2. Khowa – 200 gm
3. Powdered sugar – 6 big spoons
4. Almonds – To decorate
How to prepare Kesari Peda?
1. Soak saffron strands in warm milk for a few minutes.
2. Heat a non-stick pan and add khowa.
3. Cook for 2-3 minutes, and keep stirring it turns soft.
4. Add saffron and milk mixture to it and keep stirring.
5. When it turns thick like chapati dough, put off the flame, add sugar and mix well.
6. Make medium sized balls and gently press to get cutlet shapes.
7. Decorate each Kesari Peda by placing an almond inside it.
