Ingredients for Kalakhand:
1. Grated paneer – 2 cups
2. Condensed milk – ½ tin
3. Milk powder – 1.5 tablespoons
4. Almonds and pistachios chopped – ¼ cup
5. Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
6. Ghee – 2 teaspoon
How to prepare Kalakhand?
1. Heat 2 table spoons of ghee in a pan.
2. Add almonds and pistachios and fry it.
3. When the colour changes slightly, remove almonds and pistachios from the hot oil.
4. In the same pan, add condensed milk, grated paneer and milk powder.
5. Mix the contents well and cook on a low flame.
6. After 6 minutes, the mixture starts turning thick.
7. Take a bowl and grease it with ghee.
8. Cook the paneer mixture for 7 more minutes.
9. When it turns thick, transfer the contents to the greased bowl.
10. Using a spoon to spread the kalakhand uniformly.
11. Decorate your kalakhand with fried nuts.
12. Allow to cool and place in the refrigerator.
13. Cut into pieces and serve chilled.
