Jackfruit – Prawn Cutlet (Chakka Chemmeen Cutlet)

Ingredients for Jackfruit – Prawn Cutlet (Chakka Chemmeen Cutlet):

1. Prawns cooked adding salt and smashed – 2 cups

2. Coconut oil – 2 table spoons

3. Onions chopped – 1 cup

    Green chillies chopped fine – 1 dessert spoon

    Ginger chopped – 1 tsp

    Curry leaves chopped – 2 dessert spoons

4. Pepper crushed – ½ tsp

5. Potato boiled and smashed – 1 cup

    Raw jackfruit steam cooked and smashed – 1 cup

6. Egg – 1

    Bread crumbs – As required

7. Coconut oil – For frying

How to prepare Jackfruit – Prawn Cutlet (Chakka Chemmeen Cutlet)?

1. Heat oil and sauté ingredients no: 3.

2. Add pepper and sauté again.

3. Add smashed prawns, mix well and put off the flame.

4. When it cools, add smashed potato and jackfruit.

5. Add extra salt and yellow yolk and mix the contents well.

6. Make cutlet shapes and dip in white yolk followed by bread crumbs.

7. Deep fry in hot coconut oil.
