Easy Mushroom Pulao

Ingredients for Easy Mushroom Pulao:

1. Basmati rice – 425 milli

2. Mushroom – 150 gm

3. Oil – 3 big spoons

4. Onions – 50 gm, sliced thin

    Garlic – 1 clove, chopped

5. Ginger chopped – ½ small spoon

    Garam masala powder – ¼ small spoon

    Salt – For taste

How to prepare Easy Mushroom Pulao?

1. Wash rice and soak in 4 cups of water.

2. Strain water from rice after half an hour.

3. Wash mushrooms, completely remove moisture content and chop into thick pieces.

4. Heat oil and sauté garlic and onions.

5. When the edges of garlic and onions turns brown, add mushroom and sauté for 2 minutes.

6. Add rice along with ingredients no: 5.

7. Reduce the flame and sauté for 2 minutes.

8. Add 2 cups of water and mix well.

9. When water starts to boil, close with a tight lid and cook for 25 minutes.

10. Open the lid after 5 more minutes. Serve hot.
