Ingredients for Duck Piralan (Tharavu Piralan):
- Duck – 1
- Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Coriander powder – 2 small spoons
Chilli powder – 3 small spoons
Garam masala powder – 1 small spoon
Salt – For taste - Coconut oil – As required
- Mustard – ½ small spoon
Cumin – 1/4 small spoon
Curry leaves – 3 stalks - Ginger chopped lengthwise – 1 big spoon
Garlic – 1 full, chopped
Shallots – ¼ kg
Green chillies – 2, chopped - Pepper crushed – 1 big spoon
How to prepare Duck Piralan (Tharavu Piralan)?
- Mix duck pieces with ingredients no: 2 and cook them using a pressure cooker.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry ingredients no: 4.
- Add ingredients no: 5 and sauté the contents well.
- Add cooked duck along with gravy, and boil the contents until the water content is fully absorbed.
- Finally, add crushed black pepper, mix it well and turn off the flame.
