Chicken Tikka recipe

Ingredients for Chicken Tikka:

  1. Boneless chicken – 1 kg
  2. Curd – 1 cup
    Coriander powder – 1-2 big spoons
    Ginger paste – 2 big spoons
    Garlic paste – 3 big spoons
    Salt – 1.5 big spoons
    Garam masala powder – 1 big spoon
    Red chillies – 2 or 3
    Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
    Lemon juice – 3 big spoons
    Cardamom – 4, powdered after removing skin
    Cinnamon powder – 1 small spoon
  3. Onions – 2 big
    Green capsicum – 2
  4. Olive oil – As required
  5. Chat masala – As required
  6. Onion chopped into rings, and lemon pieces – To decorate

How to prepare Chicken Tikka?

  1. Clean chicken and cut it into small pieces for Chicken Tikka. Use a fork to penetrate here and there.
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a big plastic bowl.
  3. Add chicken to it, marinate well and let it rest for 2-3 hours.
  4. Cut ingredients no: 3 into square pieces similar to chicken pieces.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewer one by one, along with onions and capsicum in alternate sequence.
  6. Spray olive oil, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, pre-heated at 200-230 degree celsious. Take care, your chicken doesn’t turn dry.
  7. Sprinkle chat masala once you take it out.
  8. Decorate with onion rings and lemon pieces.
  9. Serve hot with mint chutney.
