
Ingredients for Chicken Coconut Milk Curry (Chicken Paal Curry):
- Chicken 1 kg
- Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
Salt – For taste
Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon - Oil – 3 small spoons
- Cardamom – 8
Cinnamon – 3 pieces
Cloves – 8 - Onion – 2, chopped fine
Ginger -1 piece
Garlic – 8 cloves, chopped
Green chillies – 10
Curry leaves – As required - First and second extract of coconut milk – From 1 coconut
- Coconut grated – ½
Cashews – 50 gm, soaked
Mint leaves, coriander leaves – As required - Tomato – 1, split into four
- Ghee – 1 small spoon
How to prepare Chicken Coconut Milk Curry (Chicken Paal Curry)?
- Clean the chicken and cut it into small pieces.
- Mix ingredients no: 2 and marinate chicken pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry ingredients no: 4.
- Add ingredients no: 5 and sauté the contents.
- Add chicken and reduce the flame.
- When the water comes out from the chicken and is almost absorbed, add the second extract of coconut milk.
- When the chicken is cooked well, add the thick coconut milk.
- Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 7 and add to the chicken.
- Mix the contents well.
- Place tomato slices on top and pour ghee.
- Put off the flame and serve hot.
