Chicken Coconut Milk Curry recipe

Ingredients for Chicken Coconut Milk Curry (Chicken Paal Curry):

  1. Chicken 1 kg
  2. Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
    Salt – For taste
    Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
  3. Oil – 3 small spoons
  4. Cardamom – 8
    Cinnamon – 3 pieces
    Cloves – 8
  5. Onion – 2, chopped fine
    Ginger -1 piece
    Garlic – 8 cloves, chopped
    Green chillies – 10
    Curry leaves – As required
  6. First and second extract of coconut milk – From 1 coconut
  7. Coconut grated – ½
    Cashews – 50 gm, soaked
    Mint leaves, coriander leaves – As required
  8. Tomato – 1, split into four
  9. Ghee – 1 small spoon

How to prepare Chicken Coconut Milk Curry (Chicken Paal Curry)?

  1. Clean the chicken and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Mix ingredients no: 2 and marinate chicken pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry ingredients no: 4.
  4. Add ingredients no: 5 and sauté the contents.
  5. Add chicken and reduce the flame.
  6. When the water comes out from the chicken and is almost absorbed, add the second extract of coconut milk.
  7. When the chicken is cooked well, add the thick coconut milk.
  8. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 7 and add to the chicken.
  9. Mix the contents well.
  10. Place tomato slices on top and pour ghee.
  11. Put off the flame and serve hot.
