Ingredients for Cashew Mocha Surprise:
1. Instant coffee powder – 2 small spoons full
2. Warm water – ½ cup
3. Butter – 1 cup
Sugar powdered – 2 cups
4. Eggs – 3
5. Cashews broken – ¾ cup
6. Maida – 2 cups
Baking powder – 1 small spoon
7. Vanilla essence – 1 small spoon
For Icing:
8. Icing sugar – 340 gm
Instant coffee powder – 2 small spoons
9. Butter – 113 gm
10. Vanilla essence – 1/2 small spoon
11. Warm water – As required
12. Cashews – A handful, broken
How to prepare Cashew Mocha Surprise?
1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degree celsious.
2. Mix coffee powder in warm water.
3. Beat butter and sugar together till sugar melts completely.
4. Add egg one after another and beat well till the mixture turns soft.
5. Add cashews to this mixture and keep aside.
6. Blend maida and baking powder together.
7. Add the maida mixture and coffee-milk solution to the egg mixture alternatively, and mix the contents well.
8. Finally, add vanilla essence and prepare the batter.
9. Pour the batter into a greased baking tin and bake in a pre-heated oven for 40 minutes.
10. To prepare icing, mix icing sugar and sugar together.
11. Add melted butter to it and beat the contents well till it turns soft.
12. Add milk if needed so that you can pour the batter into the baking tray.
13. Pour batter into the tray and decorate with broken cashews.
14. Bake the cake till it is done.
