
Ingredients for Carrot Pola:
1. Carrot – 4
2. Eggs – 4
3. Milk powder – 6 tablespoons
4. Maida – 1 tsp
5. Sugar – 4 tablespoons (or as per preference)
6. Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
7. Cashews – 10-15 nos.
8. Raisins – 10-15 nos.
9. Ghee – 1 tablespoon
How to prepare Carrot Pola?
1. Remove the skin of the carrot and cut it into small pieces.
2. Take carrot pieces in a pan and pour water up to its level.
3. Cook the carrot till it turns soft.
4. When the carrot cools off completely, put it in a blender along with eggs.
5. Add milk powder, sugar, maida, and vanilla essence to the blender.
6. Make a fine paste of the ingredients without adding water.
7. Heat ghee in a pan and fry raisins and cashews.
8. Remove them from the ghee and pour the carrot paste into the pan.
9. Level it using a knife and decorate with fried raisins and cashews on its top.
10. Close the lid and cook it on a low flame for 20-30 minutes till it is done.
11. Use a toothpick to check if your carrot pola is cooked well.
12. When it is done, take it from the flame and allow it to cool completely.
13. Refrigerate your carrot pola and serve it chilled.
