Brinjal (Egg Plant) Pakoda
Ingredients for Brinjal (Egg Plant) Pakoda:
1. Brinjal – 2
2. Salt and sugar – 1 pinch each
3. Gram flour – 3/4 cup
Rice flour – 1 table spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
4. Oil – For frying
How to prepare Brinjal (Egg Plant) Pakoda?
1. Prepare thick batter using ingredients no: 3, adding sufficient water.
2. Rub sugar and salt on chopped brinjal pieces and keep aside for 10 minutes.
3. Remove water content from brinjal completely.
4. Dip each brinjal slice in batter and deep fry in hot oil.
Note: You can add more salt if needed.
