Ethapazham Cake recipe

Ingredients for Kerala Banana Cake (Ethapazham Cake):

1. Kerala Banana (Ethapazham) – 2, cut into small pieces

    Ghee – 2 big spoons

2. Eggs – 5

    Sugar – 2.5 big spoons

3. Milk – 1 glass

    Corn flour – A big spoon

    Vanilla essence – 2 drops

4. Oil – A little

5. Ghee – A little

    Raisins and cashews – To garnish

How to prepare Kerala Banana Cake (Ethapazham Cake)?

1. Fry banana pieces in 2 big spoons of ghee, till they turn light brown.

2. Blend ingredients no: 2 in a bowl.

3. Mix ingredients no: 3 in another bowl.

4. Mix the banana, egg mixture, and corn flour mixture together.

5. Heat a non-stick flat pan and pour a little oil.

6. Pour the mixture into the pan and cook on a low flame for 20 minutes.

7. Close the lid too.

8. Fry raisins and cashews in ghee and pour on the top of the mixture, just before it fully sets.

9. Allow it to cool.

10. Transfer your banana cake to a plate and cut into desired pieces.
