Smoothie is an instant, yet healthy drink, which can be taken on a regular basis. You can try different combinations to make different, tasty, and colourful smoothies. You can also substitute one meal with a healthy smoothie. In the case of green smoothies and carrot smoothies, a lot of nutrients are present. It contains antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins, and can also help in losing a few calories.

Carrot Smoothie

Carrot Smoothie

Ingredients for Carrot Smoothie:

  1. Carrot cut into small pieces – 2 cups
  2. Apple cut into small pieces – 1 cup
  3. Honey – 1 big spoon
  4. Milk – 1 cup
  5. Ice cubes and mint leaves – As needed

How to prepare Carrot Smoothie?

  1. Put all ingredients except the mint leaves in a blender, and blend well.
  2. Strain it and decorate with mint leaves.
  3. If needed, add extra honey.

Green Smoothie

Ingredients for Green Smoothie:

  1. Palak/Lettuce/Broccoli chopped – 3 cups
  2. Coconut water/water – 2 cups
  3. Banana/mango/apple chopped – 1 cup
  4. Honey – 1 small spoon
  5. Ginger chopped – 1 small spoon
  6. Peanuts – 1 big spoon, powdered

How to prepare Green Smoothie?

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a blender.
  2. Strain it, if needed.
  3. Transfer your green smoothie to glasses and serve chilled.
