Sweet Ada recipe

Ingredients for Sweet Ada:

1. Maida – 1½ cups 

    Salt, Water – As required 

2. Chana dal (Bengal gram) – 50 g 

3. Ghee – 1 tbsp 

4. Sugar – ¾ cup 

   Coconut – ¼ of one, grated 

   Cardamom powder – ½ tsp 

5. Oil – As required

How to prepare Sweet Ada?

1. Mix maida, salt, and enough water to knead the dough similar to poori dough. 

2. Cook chana dal in a pressure cooker with water until two whistles. Once the steam releases, drain the water and set it aside. 

3. Heat ghee in a pan, add the cooked chana dal along with the fourth set of ingredients, sauté on a low flame, and remove from the heat. This is the filling. 

4. Roll the kneaded dough into poori-sized circles, place some filling in each one, fold over, seal the edges, and set aside. 

5. Fry in hot oil until golden and crisp.
