Stuffed Cabbage Rolls recipe

Ingredients for Stuffed Cabbage Rolls:

1. Oil – As needed

2. Onions chopped fine – 1 small spoon

    Garlic chopped fine – 1 small spoon

3. Carrot chopped fine – 2 big spoons

    Beans chopped fine – 2 big spoons

    Celery chopped fine – 1 small spoon

    Cabbage chopped fine – 3 big spoons

4. Basmati rice cooked – 1 cup

    Tomato ketchup – 1 big spoon

5. Cabbage leaves – 10

For sauce:

6. Oil – 1 big spoon

7. Onions chopped fine – 1 small spoon

    Garlic chopped fine – 1 small spoon

8. Tomato puree – 2 cups

9. Salt and pepper – As needed

10. Cheese grated – To decorate

How to prepare Stuffed Cabbage Rolls?        

1. Dip cabbage leaves in boiling water for a few seconds and immerse them in cold water. Completely remove moisture.         

2. Heat oil and sauté onions and garlic.

3. After 1 minute, add the vegetables and cook on a low flame.

4. When it’s done, add salt and pepper and turn off the flame.

5. Add rice and ketchup to the vegetables. This is the filling.

6. Take a cabbage leaf and place a little filling inside it.

7. Roll the leaf and wrap the filling completely.

8. Continue the process of remaining leaves and filling, and place all of them in a plate.

9. To prepare the sauce, heat the oil first and sauté the onions and garlic.

10. When onions turn brown, add tomato puree, salt, and pepper powder.

11. Continue cooking till the sauce thickens.

12. When it’s done, pour on top of the cabbage rolls.

13. Decorate them with cheese and serve.
