
Ingredients for Simple Chicken Curry:
- Chicken cut into pieces – 1 kg
- Chicken masala powder – 5 tablespoons
- Onions chopped – 1 cup
- Ginger chopped – 1 tablespoon
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Green chillies – 2
- Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
- Coconut oil – 2 tablespoons
- Mustard and salt – As required
How to prepare Simple Chicken Curry?
- Add salt and chicken masala to the chicken pieces.
- Manually mix it well and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
- Make a fine paste of ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Heat oil and sputter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves.
- Add onions and sauté them.
- When it is done, add the paste of ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Sauté it again and add chicken pieces and 3 cups of water.
- Cook chicken on a low flame.
- When the gravy thickens, turn off the flame.
N.B: If needed, you can use coconut milk instead of water.
